Bring out a 'second' film and chance ruining it, bring out third and chance absolutely killing it - however, Taken 3 did not 'kill' the Taken trilogy. Liam Neeson always kicks ass in these films, and they are always a good watch. Some criticisms of this film are: how incredibly fast the shots were in the action scenes, sometimes you could literally not see what was happening. Also, nobody got 'taken' so the film title is a little bit irrelevant now. And finally, how unbelievably unrealistic it was that he stayed alive through being shot at hundreds of times, police car chases and crashing down a cliff in his car. The soundtrack to this film was a key point in its enjoyment to watch and the modern and extremely effective titles. Forest Whitaker was an extremely significant supporting actor and made a key contribution to the film. Maggie Grace's acting skills were limited in this final addition to the Taken legacy - if your mother was murdered you would look a lot more upset than she did. I will buy this on DVD only so I have all three together at home
My rating: 68 popcorns
